I had hoped to get this post out to you this past Saturday as January 24th marked the 1st blogiversary of my first post here on lilcelebrations! But alas, I was sick with the flu so I am just catching up on things now….
As you may, or may not know, mimosas are one of my favorite drinks. I also happen to love blood oranges which are in season now. Sooo… I thought this was the perfect cocktail for me to cheers to on this 1st blogiversary of mine…
This drink is super simple to make and a nice twist on the standard mimosa. You can easily make this for a group for brunch or pour each drink individually….either way it is a nice citrus-y treat to help you forget (at least temporarily) about all this cold weather and snow.
- 1 bottle of Blood Orange Juice, chilled (33.8 fl oz)
- 1 bottle of Prosecco, chilled (750 mL)
- Pour each bottle into a pitcher and serve. Cheers!
- Note - This is best made immediately before serving.
- Pour 2 oz of chilled blood orange juice and 4 oz of chilled Prosecco into a glass and serve.
